As a participant in the Champlain Publishing Initiative, I collaborated on “The People of Townshend, Vermont” project—an independently published photography book. I spent many cherished hours with the photographer, Karl, bringing his vision to life.

The book’s layout was designed to reflect the subjects' natural environment, emphasizing spaciousness and simplicity. My objective was to pay homage to Karl’s interview subjects by selecting minimalist typography, impactful imagery, and memorable pull quotes. This aesthetic was extended to promotional materials utilized during Karl’s book tour.

Karl’s feedback, “Your range and versatility astounds me!!!! You are a gem!” serves as a testament to our successful collaboration—a client relationship I fondly remember.
